my little doggie had her annual exam today and she needed premedication before because she needed a nail trim and nail trims make her so anxious she thrashes and she’s a risk to injure herself/a tech so she gets gabapentin/trazodone before and then she’s able to sit through her nail trims safely and she’s home from her appointment now and she’s so sleepy she’s napping in my lap and I’m still not allowed to go to work because of my heart and I don’t feel good and my face hurts and both of us need this snuggle right now and I just love my little nova dog so much she is so fucking perfect and special and precious she deserves the world

I need Nova to realize that, while the anarchists were worse, the renegades aren’t great either and her switching sides so fully and suddenly was just a knee-jerk reaction to leaving the anarchists and her and Adrian and the others rebel again at the council and put a real democracy with true equality in place. i also want nova pov again, but i know the chances of that are very low since i think we can assume it will be Evie x Max

Nova doesn't really have much of a personality (or personhood, even) in canon so anybody who makes it more of a character than a plot device of course winds up having to make up their own characterization. Why on God's green Earth would a wish-granting entity with any modicum of a conscience grant wishes indiscriminately? Why would such an entity be created? It should never question this.

There are so many cool things in my WR, but the view from my window is by far the prettiest. My WR takes place in a cyberpunk city. Flying cars, neon lights, skyscrapers, and endless rain galore! The rain hits the city in a way that makes it glow. It's eternal night, so the stars are always sparkling. I also scripted that instead of the moon, we see Saturn! I thought that'd be a super cool thing to experience.

Now, the best part; my room! My WR is basically a singular bedroom because I've always found those to be particularly comforting. Bedrooms are where you can be your authentic self and express your creativity, and since I don't have one in this reality, I thought it'd be the perfect thing to center my comfort space around. There are so many amazing gadgets in my room! I have a reading corner, a gaming/streaming PC, a LIFA mirror that acts as a closet, and of course, my TV. The TV might just be the thing I'm most excited to explore, because it has an endless library of shows and movies to watch. Included here is also my bed! It's the most comfortable thing in the world, supporting my body in the best way possible while feeling like an absolute cloud. Oh, and my window! The image I provided isn't exactly how it is in my WR, but it's the closest thing I can find.

Y'ALL, THIS BATHROOM?? OMGGGG First of all, it's big. There's the main part of the bathroom, with the regular stuff like a shower and tub. Then there's an entirely different section which is literally just a spa. There's a jacuzzi, a pool, a station with lotions and skincare products, ALL OF THAT! I'm so excited to experience that jacuzzi. I've never been in one but they look insanely relaxing

An underrated but nonetheless exciting part of my WR is trying out all my new clothes! I'm an absolute sucker for fashion, and in my WR, I have an unlimited wardrobe just waiting for me. I primarily wear loungewear (a small fraction pictured below), but thanks to my LIFA Mirror/LIFA App I can try on anything I please at any time!

So Fionna and Cake was definitely a show I wasn't expecting to see when it got announced, and even less in the way it got delivered. Originally I thought they would stuck out with what we had seen so far in Adventure Time which is to say classical AT fun loving stories but with female Finn and cat Jake, which I would have been perfectly fine with.

But man, man. What ended up being delivered really was something I wasn't expecting but I'm really happy we got that, specially when it comes to separating Fionna from Finn and making her into her own person instead of a carbon copy of him except female and of course then there's Simon.

Simon has been an important character from the moment of his reveal as the former identity of the Ice King and being a huge plot device for some of the most hard hitting moments of the show, but besides that we have had barely seen anything of Simon as anything separate from the crown.

So being able to see how he's dealing with not just having his sanity back, but also having to adjust to an insane world where even the humans are so different from someone from the 20th century and his loss of Betty who sacrificed herself so he would be back as himself, and needless to say... My man's going through it.

He doesn't fit in, he doesn't have a purpose, his fiance is GONE, and he's constantly being reminded of his time as Ice King. Dude's fucking depressed and his coping mechanisms are destroying him and sending him further to the edge.

If you see him turning his life into a time capsule exhibition for the other humans, it's obvious he keeps idolizing a time that he cannot return to, he's stuck and hasn't been able to MOVE ON. So by the time he meets Fionna and Cake and finally decides to help them, he's pretty much using that as an excuse to sacrifice himself and use the crown and the Ice King by extension as a form of escapism. And the thing is, even with the crown the Ice King was MISSERABLE in what little moments of lucidity he had and we got to see that multiple times throughout the show.

While we got to see Fionna grow more as a person and accepting her world for what it is, we also get a LOT from Simon and the multiple foils het gets throughout the show, with Farmworld Finn who managed to regain his sanity (and being severely traumatized from the experience) doing what he can to move on and live in the moment via tending his own family and cherishing what little he has left of his late wife, even if he's still not okay he's doing his best, to the Winter King who refused to move on and instead decided to ignore the problem, forget about Betty and live through his own selfishness while hurting the Candy Kingdom and Princess Bubblegum (dude created an Ice Marceline who remained a kid, that's not healthy,) culminating in how Simon's influence affected those around him with Marceline from the Vampire World being a completely evil and sadistic person who relishes in the thrill of causing fear to her victims and finally culminating in The Lich whom after achieving his goal of eliminating all life of Ooo became a shell of his own self after finally losing his one goal.

But the thing is, Simon is an incredibly nice man, he just has a problem where he fails to see his own failings unless it's spelled out to him, which is why GolBetty becomes important to the final part of his overall arc.

Simon and Betty had a sincerely loving relationship, they were happy with each and it's so easy to see how much they love each other by the way they mourn, protect, care about one another and even when they talk about their past together you can see that love and while it's beautiful... It's also unhealthy, not toxic, just unhealthy.

They weren't equal to one another and we can see that with Simon being already a researcher whom Betty admires while she's only a student. They were not on the same level from day one and while Betty was brilliant and could have had an amazing future, she sacrificed her dreams for Simon and he was not aware of that. They keep feeding into each other's worst traits without knowing, but it's not like it was a bad relationship it was a good one, a genuinely good relationship with bad sides that neither party was aware of.

And sometimes that's what it is, it's not a bad experience, it was a good experience just not a healthy one.

And that's what Simon needs to realize to let Betty go, sure they loved each other and still do, but their decisions were made and now they have to accept those decisions and move on, and to Betty who by this point is a literal god of chaos, she has lived in a state where time is nonexistent and doesn't move the same for her so to her she has made amends with everything and now all she can do is to finally have a moment of closure with Simon, a moment where they both can give their goodbyes to the other and continue on with life. It's not easy, it's hard and it hurts, but it's the best thing to do for themselves.

In the end it was all experience, a good experience that meant everything and they can look back to with the same amount of love and care.

#4 Lore dump about ocs

Raya

Where do I even start?? This is the short version and I passed over a lot of details, Raya and her cousins were all raised in a military family, more specifically in the Hood family. It’s not the most known fact due the last name differences but Admiral Terrence Hood is her uncle and she was mostly raised by him and his wife. Her parents were apart of the UNSC but they were rarely ever home, Raya spend most of her time with her uncle and aunt or attending military school with her cousins.

Around the same time the war started, Raya’s parents asked what she wanted for her 14th birthday, all she really wanted was time with her parents, so they went on a vacation together. However, the planet gets attacked while their there, and Raya ends up getting saved by an ODST while her parents are killed, the last thing she even remembers from that night, is watching the man who saved her get stabbed while the pelican was taking off.

It takes two more weeks before she’s finally taken back to earth and reunited with her family, it’s Terrence that sees her first and asks what happened. After they talk, Raya takes his hand and gives it a squeeze but doesn’t cry, she can’t find it in her and it’s a note that Terrence makes. He ends up putting her in therapy but it doesn’t really go anywhere, Raya is just refusing to grieve and never really processes it.

By the time she’s 18, she enlists immediately and her military career starts, by the age of 22, she’s scouted out to become an ODST and climbs the ranks. She works mainly on the frontlines but has the odd missions of undercover or assassinations, at the age of 32 her entire unit gets wiped out and the only reason she survived is because she didn’t listen to orders.

After this event, she gets called back to earth for a psychological evaluation but ends up stopping by Admiral Hood’s office and she breaks down about it to him and this is the first time he’s seen her cry. She doesn’t get sent to the frontlines again for a good six years, doing mainly undercover missions and dealing with insurrectionists as a lonewolf.

In 2548, she’s recruited for the experimental phase of the Spartan-IV program and by 2551 has been promoted to commander.

There is such much more but this is scratching the surface.

Lana

I’m still working on her story, but what I have so far is that Lana attended military school with her cousins and brothers, she’s normally very quiet and got bullied for it until Raya snapped one day and beat the kids up [Lana didn’t tell anyone because she didn’t wanna be a bother], this was right after Raya lost her parents.

When she was 12, her dad got a form of incurable disease and slowly started dying, she would often get sent to stay with family while her parents were constantly at doctor appointments. While visiting him in the hospital, he starts teaching her to draw and it becomes their thing, when she finally turns 18, her dad tells her “No point in wasting away with me, go live.” And ends up becoming a marine. She becomes an ODST at 25 but ends up getting taken by ONI to do undercover ops. In 2549, she gets pulled into the Spartan-IV program after the first set of augmentations are done with the first group of experiments.

I know in 2552, she gets put onto Kilo-Five as a stealth operative.

Novarell

Also a work in progress,

Nova is an original Predacon that was put into stasis by Onyx Prime and Solus Prime. She was more curious about how Cybertronian lived and was taught by Onyx to change forms. This resulted in her getting pretty much casted out and Solus took her in and taught her how not to be a beast pretty much. Nova had pleaded to the Predaking alot about the great cataclysm coming but wouldn't hear her out. She was ready to die with her brother but Onyx wanted to ensure at least one Predacon survived, so he and Solus put her into stasis.

She was accidentally woken during the war and was confused as hell at the state of Cybertron. She ended up killing bots on both sides in self-defense as the autobots thought of her as a con and the cons had never seen this predacon before.

Not her proudest moment, but she ended up draining the Energon from the bots she killed to sustain herself. She meets some predacons but realizes they aren't from her Era of life. Nova ends up killing them seeing them as weaker and is disgusted by them.

There is a brief period where Nova tries to find any of her kind still alive that isn't a knockoff. During this time, she helps several autobots in battles but their all confused as to why a predacon is turning against the cons. Nova never stays and flies off. Novarell ends up destroying a deception base and using the portal in there to find her way to Earth. Only to find the place crawling with predacons and loses her mind for a minute and goes on a killing spree. In her grief, she finds a cave that's filled with Energon and returns to stasis.

Flash forward years, and someone [probs cons] finds the cave she's residing in and starts mining the now energon crystals; they don't realize there is a GIANT dragon in the cave and hit a deposit that's above her and the vibration pulls her out of stasis and she's grumpy. She yawns and sniffs the air and growls, she attacks the bot and it's over within a minute before Nova transforms and stretches, how long had it been since she took on this form?

She leaves the cave and makes sure to cause a landslide to block it, she'll be able to dig at it later. Before transforming again and flying off to figure out what had happened.

Raya

Her eyes used to be honey brown. Raya was going actively blind before augmentation with the war she’s fought in for 20+ years, between the explosions and flashes of plasma, it started taking a bad turn on her vision. She originally started losing her sight at 16 but never told anyone thinking it was normal until she told her uncle about it at 18, there was no point in making a big deal about it between the war and her going through boot camp that they just got her long-lasting contacts. In 2548, Admiral Hood was thinking about having her retire with her vision being so bad but ONI wanted her for the Spartan-IV program with her mission record. Due to the program still being in the experimental phase, they offered her the Spartan-II augmentation, Occipital Capillary Reversal regardless of if failure meant permanent blindness. She jumped on the wagon so fast and the augmentation was a success, however this resulted in her eyes turning into a golden color instead of brown and she can see in the dark.

From her father’s side, she’s from Ukrainian descent, I had to share this too.

Lana

Girl got cheated on by her fiancé while she was deployed and only finds this out because one of her cousin’s had evidence, she confronts him and he says very hurtful things and the main one that she remembers till this day is “you are no good.” And her responds is “you honestly couldn’t have waited till I was six feet under? I would’ve died sooner than later and you couldn’t have let me die thinking you loved me?”

Novarell

Nova and the original Predaking came from the well of allspark together, so they considered each other siblings and were very close until Nova started interacting with Cybertronians and learned how to transform, they started fighting a lot and he practically casted her out but could never bring himself to kill her. She still loves her 'brother' very much and misses him.

I can’t believe I forgot to say what the actual fursona was lol. I tend to rewrite my tags and sentences frequently in the effort of finding the perfect phrasing, and that often results in me forgetting to add important information 🤦‍♀️ But anyway I should also clarify it’s less of a fursona and more of a Sonic OC, a Sonicsona, if you will lol. I still count it but I’m sure there are people who appreciate the distinction lol.

With that out of the way I’d love for you to know that I made my little fursona a leopard! Not a snow leopard, not a cheetah, just a standard little leopard. Groundbreaking, I know lol.

As for it I still have it, yes I do! I updated her “10 years later” to match my hair and fashion sense a little but not much has changed haha. Here are some silly doodles I did of her last year. I’m not home at the moment but I want to redraw her as soon as I come back from this next haircut ✌️

And yes! My favorite animal is, in fact, the mole! I can probably date this back to last year cuz I went on a bit of a frenzy looking through the mole tag lol. They’re adorable! Maybe I’ll draw myself a mole Sonic/fursona when I get back :O
